About Dan & Susan
Brought up in South Wales, Dan studied modern languages at university which meant he got to spend a year in France drinking red wine, eating very rare steak and perfecting the Gallic shrug. Then he moved to London where he worked extensively as an actor/musician and, increasingly, as a writer/director. From playing Paul McCartney in NBC’s In His Life: The John Lennon Story to performing alongside Orbital, Sir Stephen Hawking and Sir Ian McKellen in the 2012 Paralympic Opening Ceremony, Dan has a wealth of experience in film, theatre and TV. Now back in Cardiff, he brings all of this to his work with Corrwg Productions.
Originally from Glyncorrwg, deep in the Welsh Valleys, Susan began her acting career at the Battersea Arts Centre in 'that-there London'. Over the next 10 (or so!) years she worked extensively as an actor whilst also keeping up her training at The Actors Centre. In more recent years, and particularly since relocating to Wales, Susan has begun developing her career as a writer/performer. As well as setting up Corrwg Productions, and producing her one-woman show, 'I'll Be There, Now..' she is also currently collaborating with Riff Raff productions on their 'Mugs Like Us' project.
